Corbett digs into the familiar for his next appointment

Governor-elect Tom Corbett has selected a familiar name to head up Pennsylvania's Department of General Services. Sheri Phillips has worked with Corbett at the attorney general's office since 2005.

Incoming Governor Tom Corbett has selected Sheri Phillips to head up Pennsylvania’s Department of General Services.

Phillips is no stranger to Corbett. Since 2005, she’s been the director of management services for the attorney general’s office.

In her new role, Phillips will oversee state purchasing along with guiding capital projects.
