Too often individuals and their families struggle financially and emotionally without any resources to deal with a chronic health care condition; to return to work or school after a brain injury; to ensure good prenatal care and children’s nutrition; or, to maintain a healthy home. However, many resources are available for these and other needs. By calling any one helpline at Pennsylvania’s Health and Human Services Call Center, a caller can access health information or referrals for their entire household.

The Call Center, a collaboration of the Pennsylvania Department’s of Health, Aging, Insurance and Public Welfare, utilizes cross-trained specialists to provide a wide range of health, insurance and human services information for people of all ages.

You can download a flyer with the list of toll-free health helplines in English or Spanish or call 877-986-4550 to request a copy of PA Resources for Your Family’s Health, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
