In this edition of Rock The Capital Minute; nearly three weeks have passed since an earthquake and tsunami nearly destroyed the Fukushima Dai-ichi power plant in Japan, and problems keep multiplying. In Pennsylvania, House Speaker Sam Smith introduced a bill that would eliminate 50 members of the House. Smith believes it will go a long way toward make that legislative body more efficient.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission opens the door to a 31 year old environmental mess

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has agreed to address the remains of a 30 year old nuclear mess. The “mess” is located at Three Mile Island’s, Unit 2, just outside Harrisburg.
