In this edition of Rock The Capital Minute; RTC’s John Messeder reports that a public school in Gettysburg is weighing whether or not to close a school as it tries to balance a $2 million dollar budget shortfall. Pennsylvania’s Legislative Reapportionment Commission met for the first time with Judge Stephen McEwen at the helm. RTC and a Democracy Rising investigation revealed that McEwen is serving on the bench past an age limit, which calls into question his appointment to the commission. Newt Gingrich is officially seeking the Republican presidential nomination. Gingrich is set to unveil a new contract with America, but he is bogged down with questions about his past indiscretions.
