Alloway has reintroduced a self defense measure aimed at protecting would be victims from defending themselves. The bill sailed through the General Assembly in 2010 but former Governor Rendell vetoed it.

Governor Tom Corbett prepares to give birth to his partial plan for Reform

Governor Corbett is expected to release at least a partial road map of reform on Tuesday. Corbett is said to have some ideas about eliminating or reducing, Walking Around Money, health-care costs, and per-diems. During his campaign, Corbett said he would have a plan on day one — that has not rung true, but his administration says that is because he has to work with the legislature.
