Osama Bin Laden played a hand in al-Qaeda right up until his death. Over the past few years, terrorism experts came to see bin Laden as not much more than Qaeda’s symbolic leader. It was widely believed that he no longer concerned himself with day to day operations, but that view is changing in light of documents and files retrieved during the raid at his home in Abbottabad, earlier this week.

If the circumstances at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant were not so dire, one could have a comedic field day with Tokyo Electric Power Company [TEPCO] latest pronouncement. TEPCO, the operator of Fukushima, says it is formulating a plan to end Japan’s nuclear crisis.

In this edition of Rock The Capital Minute; a new study by a researcher at Cornell University finds that drilling for natural gas does more harm to the environment than mining for coal. Tokyo Electric says it is working on a plan to end the nuclear crisis in Japan, and Pennsylvania could have a new resort casino by tomorrow; at least on paper.
